* Murzin Alexander Alekseevich (1914 - 2010)
Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, member of the St. Petersburg branch of the Union of Artists of Russia (sculpture section), Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
Graduated from the sculpture department of the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I. E. Repina (1945–1951), student of the famous Soviet sculptor V. V. Lishev.
He worked in the field of monumental, monumental-decorative, memorial sculpture and interior-cabinet sculpture. With a team of leading Soviet artists, he participated in the design of the interiors of Leningrad metro stations.
In the 1970s–1980s. He was especially active in creating small-form sculpture models, which were cast in silumin, cast iron, aluminum and bronze at the Leningrad Monumentsculpture plant.
In the last third of the 20th century, he was the author of numerous sculptural portraits of Lenin and Dzerzhinsky, figures of Russian and foreign culture, and created models of animal sculpture, male and female figures on a sports theme, and equestrian sculpture.
